Midwest Marina

Midwest Marina is proud to begin a new chapter on Lake Sara. Formerly known as Lakeside Marina, the marina is now under the ownership of Alan and Jamie Tucker of Shelbyville.  The Tuckers bring fresh energy, experience, and a commitment to quality to the waterfront.

Alan and Jamie are no strangers to lake life. Since 2021, they have owned and operated Midwest Marine Construction, completing countless dock, boathouse, and lift projects across Lake Sara. With over two decades of experience in steel construction, Alan and his crew have built a reputation for craftsmanship, reliability, and doing things the right way.

As a family-owned and operated business, the Tucker family is hands-on in everything they do. Their three children—Ava, Kase, and Kyla—are often right alongside them, helping on job sites and learning the value of hard work from the ground up.

At Midwest Marina, that same work ethic and attention to detail carries into everything we offer. From fuel services and slip rentals to ongoing improvements around the property, our goal is to create a better, smoother, and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits the lake.
